Fatma, the Whale Shark, was the first idea that i had for what was meant to be a series of characters depicting the fauna of Qatar. These characters/souvenirs were meant to work as a poster and also to be built by folding paper, sold in sheets for easy production and transportation, and were aimed at kids and visitors of the country. This idea ended up not going forward, but i really enjoyed creating these initial sketches.
